Lean UX: Remote Collaboration

Webinar Case Studies

In 2017, I presented a case study as part of an internal webinar on Remote Collaboration at Pearson, with my colleague Tommy Bishop, and the Mural Team, Jim Kalbach and Emilia Åström. We demonstrated using Mural as a tool for remote collaboration. I shared two project examples: Space Hero, and a graphing component for Multimedia Interactives.

Custom UX Templates for Discovery

For the graphing component, I presented a custom template I created in Mural for discovery and wireframing. This let me to organize my notes, research, questions, and competitive examples in one place, in order to quickly sketch ideas. I designated areas for wireframes, with key questions in each round for product, learning design, and dev leads. This resulted in our team reaching the proposed UX solution in a matter of days, versus weeks or months.

Draft wireframes, with key questions & hypotheses for each round.
